View Full Version : ID-based scene export to multi-layer image file

Hey guys, could anyone please name a free plugin/script, that allows saving a rendered scene into a multi-layered (e.g. PSD) file, according to the scene's object/mat ID's?
I think I know just one plugin of that sort, made by Cebas, but it's commercial and they say it can work only with default max's scanline renderer...

It's built into MAX. Assign Material and/or Object IDs in your scene. Then render your scene as .RPF files. These will contain layers and you can access the Mat and Obj IDs in the layers.
