Hi all,

I'm trying a few things out in Maxscript and I'm wondering if it has the capability for what I require.

1) I'm trying to find if I can have a box come up when Max loads (although with Max not shown). The box gives a choice of different UI configurations and selecting brings up the relevant Max UI. It seems quite feasible, but I can't work out how??

Yes.

Search for: custom user interface files - in the MXS help

Incidentally, you could also use the command switches to load max, so you could have different icons on your desktop to load with different CUI's

Look under: Starting 3ds Max from the Command Line - in the standard max help
