Title: Blu
Name: Andrea Bertaccini
Country: Italy
Software: 3ds max, Brazil r/s, combustion, Photoshop

I want to reproduce the classical portrait atmosphere of the old paintings.
I moved the center from the subject to give more dynamism at the image.
I paid attention at the torso of the girl (body and dress) and at the skin, the hair was made with the inside module of 3DS MAX.
The light glow is a postproduction Photoshop effect all the rest are made in 3DS MAX and rendered with Brazil

Ciao Andrea,

as dodo said, clavicle is weird, it need to be smoothed.. the muscles are massive on sternum and shoulders.
The attachment of hair is too high on her LH side of head and on front.
I like very much how you made the cloth.

buon lavoro!

artistically it`s a good piece
Modelling wise,I think she has a few problems. As mentioned, the clavicle is in the right position,it just extrudes too much, and the space between the upper ribs is quite deep.
She looks a little skeletal, although some people are very thin like that.
I think also the shoulders are too square to the body, they should drop a bit and be a bit more curved to the body. They seem also to be too far detached from the body and slightly too far back, that may be a result of the shadows though.

Hi, I don't like clavicoleles, the sternum, hairs and the sides of the upper lip. the rest is not badly...compliments, expecially for the look of the dress.

Hum... Thick neck, much muscle definition and angular lines on face make her look like a man dressing a dress and wig. Even skinny models have some rounded and more gracious shapes on face and body. Have you used some reference? If so, could you let us take a look on them?

Tanks to all for your comment,

I agree with someone (brentagain (http://forums.cgsociety.org/member.php?u=257910) the clavicle is in the right position,it just extrudes too much, and the space between the upper ribs is quite deep)
About the position of the arms and shoulder, you can see better the positioning on the wire, is a little in back because he have the ands on body sides.
The body looks little skeletal, but is what I want to create, probably I've exaggerate with the paint deformation, sorry I bring the girl to MC Donald :)
I agree with the comment of the neck, is a little thick, but not too much.

I enclosed an Wire for who are interested on it.

Really thanks to all for your comment and waiting for others

Did you use Catherine Zeta-Jones as reference? Her face looks familiar.

nice render, for crits i think the armpit transition need more work. the outline of the lips look ok but the gap between the inside of the upper and lower lips make the lips look odd. also the specularity around the colar area looks too much.
