View Full Version : 3dsmax camera needs to go to Maya

Hello everyone, simple manuever but I'm looking for a solution ...

I'm attempting to composite a 3d studio max render and a Maya render. I need to bring the camera movements from max into Maya so everything is matched, and DXF files obviously don't cut it. In the past there have been plug-ins/scripts for this operation, but working with max 5 and Maya 4.5, I haven't found anything useful yet. Have I passed something over by mistake?

FXB should work.

FBX works great but be very careful about how you set up your cameras or else things won't match up.
