Title: A Cold Night
Name: Matthew Lee
Country: USA
Software: Lightwave 3D

This took me a few days to finish. The smoke was made using Paint Shop Pro., everything else was LightWave 3D. There is a total of 6 lights in this scene. I tried to match it with the background sky. Comments are welcome.

Looks good, I like the lighting, though I reckon the light from the left main windows could be brighter. The light are bottom right is a distraction, is that on a background image?

I don't feel cold when I look at it though, I thought it had more of a warm feel to it. Maybe it could do with some more icicles, frost on the windows and some mist in the air - a bit of snap and sparkle.

Is it WIP or will you be adding to it?

Thank's. The background is a real photo image. I agree that it could look more like a cold night. I am done with this one, but I might use this scene for a larger image. Maybe put this on a street or something.

Here are two other versions of this picture, with different lighting:

This is the better of the three.

I will look out for the larger scene in the future.
