How do I zoom in or out with only a 2 button mouse? Some people call it dolly in and out. I will be getting a 3 button mouse soon but not soon enough. Any help is greatly appriciated.

The only way to do it without a 3 buttom mouse is to go to the menu bar in the view panel. Look for the menu named 'View', and on that go to 'Camera Tools'. You will see the three basic tumble, track and dolly, plus a few others that are only accesible through this menu. If you select 'Dolly Tool' (or any other one), you can now use the left mouse button to dolly in or out.

However, this is not efficient, so do all that is possible to get a 3 button mouse as soon as possible - it will be of great help, not only for moving around the perspective view, but for several other functions that work better with a 3 button mouse.

hopefully somebody reads this. :hmm: In addition to my last question is there a way with only a two button mouse to move where you are looking at. So I am not constaly focused on the origin. Thanks
