Title: Krang - Warlord from Dimension X (TMNT tribute)
Name: Richard Wikström
Country: Sweden
Software: 3ds max, Photoshop, Rhino, VRay

This is everyone´s favourite alien brain, Krang.

Created in 3dsmax and Rhino. Rendered with Vray. Displacements and post processing in photoshop.

I finally found the time to touch up something I can called a finished render.

Comments are of course appreciated, but I do not plan to modify him any more.

Great work, instantly reminds me of my childhood turtle heroes :D

I remember this Krang being mostly in a body of some strange looking robot(?), but looks interesting like this as well...materials are really great, modeling and lightning too.

Thanks for the comments, warms my cold swedish heart :)

If I ever find the time, bebop would be a nice model to make.

Excellent work! Brought a big smile to my face!

Nice and slimey looking, though i think he looks a little warm and colorful. Perhaps a colder, more pale tone would suit his character?

Superb work on the texturing though!
I can almost hear him mumbling "shreeederrr you numbskull!"

WHOA!!

Holy mother of god, did you ever pull this off flawlessly! If I'd ever thought to move Krang into the realm of 3D, I'd want him to look exactly like this! Superb, full stars!

As crits go I don't really have any, although the connection between the legs and his seat / base are locked. It might be cool to have them as ball joints to give him extra mobility.

If you're doing Bebop, Rocksteady, Shredder, or Krang's robot body I'll be ready at the finish like with a beer for ya. ^_^

Fantastic model!

I really like the model, texture and shader of the brain
imo, a bigger machine attached to him is better

I remember him! Really life like! (If you can call it that)
You should most definitely build his robot body to!
But I didn't like the design of the robot body that mutch, so please do your own version...

Great work!
