beefcake 02-20-2003, 01:10 PM Just a little something, it is not supposed to be photorealistic.

I like this. Good job! :applause:
I like your use of color and textures, except there is something a little off about your railing. Maybe its too specular?

I like it a lot, but there are a few minor things I noticed. A few things look the wrong size, like the lamp looks too big, and the door looks too small, like noone could fit through it. That might actually be the door knob being too big. The only other thing is the base of the lamp is going through the wall planks which looks sort of bad. What do you mean it's not supposed to be photorealistic? It looks like it is to me. Good job

Thank you ;-) Thats the point, stuff are not how they're supposed to be... - not photorealistic.. kinda fooling your eyes with strange sizes etc ,-)
The whole thing is made without any references..

It looks like a photo to me, so I'd say it's "photorealistic". You can tell it's not a real house from the real world, but it looks like a real photograph was taken of something. I still think the lamp is just too big.

;-) yes, the lamp is too big, and thats the point.. my style is kinda wierd... but maybe i'll do a little remake a day, cus it probably would be much more elegant with natural proportions ;-)
thank you for all the feedback ,-)

nice mood, form, color.
sure the proportions of things aren't ultra-realistic, but it definitely doesn't look like this is a mistake or unintentional. plus the composition hangs together far better than most things on this forum. good job!
