Can anyone help me?!:argh:
I can't seem to render animations in maya, the only thing maya will do, is rendering a single image/frame
I tried everything, but nothing seems to work.
When I open "Render settings, image file output, Frame/animation ext." I can't select the "multiframe" options, maybe this is the problem?? otherwise i haven't a clue.
Can anyone help me with this, maybe it's easier then i expect. (probably it is XD)
Please, help me... :argh:

what you are looking for is it's own menu item - render>batch render if you have multi processor computer - open the options box and check use all.

Maybe your settings are locked. If you cant unlock them by right clicking and unlocking.

Us this line in your script editer.

setAttr -l false "place name here";

//example = setAttr -l false "defaultRenderGlobals.startFrame";

Hope it helps

Ok....
Go to render settings -> Frame/Animation Ext ->
Change that from name.ext [single frame] to any of the other choices that don't list [single frame].
Also you might want to try consulting the help documentation ( hit F1 while in maya to launch it)
