Title: French Restaurant entrance view
Name: Juan Manuel Bautista Hoepfner
Country: Mexico
Software: GIMP, HDR Shop, Silo

Depiction of the entrance of a small french restaurant, where elements of nostalgia and certainly a bit of kistch factor come into play.
Facade mouldings done in Silo2beta, everything else modeled in Shade. Rendered in Shade with the Callisto render engine, GI with photon mapping as a primary bounce and pathtracing as a secondary bounce. Exposure tuned in HDRshop. Postwork in the Gimp

I think it's a nice render but a bit too hazey or something. I know your trying to make it look old but it's a bit too difficult to see whats going on.

Indeed it is a bit too hazey.

Gr8 job Juan Manuel, I like the modeling and lighting. It is a real project? Or is a 3d scene for fun?

Thank you, Paco! :) I am in fact involved in the architectural design of the restaurant, not just on the presentation, so it is doubly important to me. So it IS a real project.
