View Full Version : Strange C4D problem.. :(

Hiya!

As i sat with C4D and worked on a scene, then suddenly things got really really weird. Non of the tools work as they should, their function seems to been replaced with some sorta sketch selection tool, or box selection, even if i try to rotate, move or scale my objects all i get when i select the appropiate tool for the task then i end up with this bloody sketch selection thingy :( any of you guys have any clue what's wrong and how i should fix this ?

Phew! that worked! :) thank you so much for your help. But now i'm curious.. what causes this to happen ? it sure looks like a evil bug.

do you have a tablet?

Nope i have no tablet, just a common Logitech cable mouse. And the tablet setting in C4D is also turned off.

the tablet seems to be the only easily reproducible way to get this bug, but its an old longstanding bug the cinema 4D windows version. every once and a while windows just doesn't want to let go of a certain key command.

I see now, hmm.. so this bug been stuck for ages with C4D. That's bad even tho as i understand it, it rarely surfaces.. this is the first time i stumbled upon it. Good to know tho, many thanks for your help and feedback. I appreciate it.
