reaperman 02-20-2003, 03:24 AM i'm trying to make a low poly cat. this is for a personal project i'm working on. a story about cats, and since there'll be quite a few of the on screen at the same time, i've decide to make them as low poly as possible...
any crit will be very welcome. i'm specially not sure about the edgeloop on the body.:shrug:

i have been trowling the net for reference, but was not able to find what i need. there's plenty of cute sites with cute pics of kitten , and that's about it. oh well

Try a book from a library. A photo shoot with your friend's cat. Something. The net isn't the only source for reference images.
Really, unless you have some sort of reference for this model, helping you out here would be really tough.
Even sketches will help, I think.

You might want to take a look at:

You should also look at the anatomy of the cat so you understand where the joints need to deform and the muscles that drive them. There are also some angles of a cat model there that may help some.:)
