Hi

I have to create an animation in a pipe filled of water and show th introduction of a fluid that will destroy limestone to make the pipe clean. Any idea how to make milestone destroyed by the injected liquid ? will work in maya... but if you have suggestions to do it in 2D

Thanks for help

If you want the fluid to actuallly push it out with true dynamics, I would use RealFlow. You can make a pre-cut tube of gunk (displace mapped for gritty bumps) within your pipe, and then export that into RealFlow. You add the fluid in RF and it will dynamically interact (i.e. push it out) with the gunk geometry which you then export back out to your 3d package.

Ha, 'gunk geometry'...that could be a new primitive!

thanks... I don't own realflow and it seems to be complicate to manage this shot without a good knowledge of this software... I'm trying to find a simpler way to give the illusion. I would consider realflow if I had more time.
