great work on the torso!
maybe the shoulders should be a bit higher.....
and the head bigger and it s a bit female-likish but maybe it was your intention.....

this looks great, dude!!!!
crits:
-the arm looks like it needs a little more detail
-the shoulders seem too far from one another, you might want to inset they a little bit more into the torso

Thanks guys,
As far as the shoulders, I've been pretty careful with following anatomy books but since you both mentioned it I looked into it a bit more and I can't really find faults with how it is. I'll look into it a bit more. Maybe I am just missing something.
My aim with this model was to really try to get as much subtle detail in there without going overboard. I also spent a lot of the time to try and give him a sense of character.

Just a quick screengrab of the face from the front.

Hi Torbjorn-
Great looking model so far! The only crit I can make is that his nipples look a bit too pointy, but maybe I should reserve judgement on nipple pointyness until you've textured him. Nice strong looking face as well - and great ears!
Good job:applause:

Lookin' good man. It seems to me though, that if you went to the trouble to model the ripples in the cloth of the bandanna, you'd want to put the same kind of detail into the strip that falls across his shoulder too.

Looking pretty good, mate.
The thing that's really jumping out at me at the moment is the shoulder area. It looks like his arms are about to fall off; there's not enough height through the deltoid where it hooks up with the pec. The arms will also be too long when you model the lower half of the figure in.
Minor detail; the torso looks too small for the bulk of the arms.
Keep it up :D

FallenSwordsman, hehe you know I actually thought about those a bit because they appear to pointy to me as well. So I did a few mesurements on my own nipples (sad I know but what dont you do for reference) and they appeared accurate to me.
Spacefork, well, it's just there as a placement holder :).
Sasquatch, arms; well I've followed anatomy proportions very closely. The arms are as long as they should be (roughly the height of the model from finger tip to finger tip when the fingers are straight) and reaching down to about the middle of his thighs (a little bit above) if he had them straight down. Deltoids and torso... well I dunno. From the reference I have I don't feel you're all that correct.
Thanks for your comments.

TorbjornO - I totally understand the nipple measuring thing - I once drew all over my face to try and figure out a wireframe for a head model - the things we do for our art.
Speaking of which - any chance of a wireframe and can we know what software you're using?
Love your website too
