Unbelievable! What details!... I think its the best modelling I've ever saw... huh... I'm a "mecha-lover"!
What wonderful the robot is, it seems to be a real model... I mean, it seems it could be alive, like walking everithing...
As the Masamune Shirow designs (appleseed, ghost in the shell, etc)...
Never stop modelling, huh!!!

Well, you got 2 weeks ;). Heh, nah, you don't have to, but it's certainly up to par to get in their, even if you just put a clean chrome on most of it.

As for English, I'm no good at whatever language you usually speak, so don't feel bad .

:buttrock: some of the sickest modeling I have ever seen. It seems that something like this would be so difficult. defenitly insperational!

Holy Crap! this is some of the best modeling I've seen! I love the detail!! I might just have to dust off my dormant 3d skillz and get back into it...this is truly insperational work!!

YES! All hail polygons! Honestly, I don't know why you patch modelers screw with that stuff sometimes, this is NURBS level surface perfection without being made out of a billion pieces... Bravo by the way, truly inspiring detail level. The cuts and bevels and all so damn smooth and perfect, just amazing.

Hey man! That is freaking sweeeeet dude!!!! Love the level of detail and I'm definitely looking fwd to the finished textured versions man!! Keep the great work up!

i have a few gripes

*crowd: BOOO!.. get off!*

to me the design of the robot looks far too random, perhaps improvised too much.. i suppose thats okay since you spent only 6-7 days on it. what is the functionality behind some of the details? or are they mainly for decor, like crests on armour.

the robot also seems unbalanced in terms of proportions, but i suppose it can be like that. other than that the rendering is well done.

I prefer the design and rendering of the girl though, her unsual but realistic body shape makes her unique amoung those seemingly perfect female models. but again her clothing has those mechanical details of questionable function..

but marks are 95%.. i wish i could model like that.

02-13-2004, 03:10 PM
ok, i'm done...
how long is it going to take, until i can model like that ????
if the people where confused, when i yelled "whoaaaaaaaaaaaaa" and rolled my chair to the backwall ? :surprised

Kanga
02-13-2004, 03:23 PM
Hmmmmmmm!

I'm not sure about textures. I think an untextured model has a kind of charm of it's own. The height of detail is exceptional as is the command of design. The female model is my favorite because of the wonderful open spaces punctuated by focus points in perfect balance.

This is top fashion at it's best. I rekon about a billion women in the world would give anything to turn up at a night club looking like this! (even without hair:) )

Congratulations,... kanga
