You also might want to put a subject in your post that relates to your problem. If everyone used "Help" as the subject that wouldn't help, would it?

They should also put Q: as a prefix to indicate it's a question. that'd help too :)

you may want to try this, holding down Control ( or is that Shift?? either one ) when you click on vertex mode, it will convert the selected egdes into the verts. ta da.
