View Full Version : BIPED Anim onto a Maya Skeleton exported to MB

Ive been trying this for about a week with no success yet. We are now using MB at work.Recently switched from Maya. We bring in the Maya skeleton of our character into MB. Now, I have some side work Ive done from a previous job, but it was done on the Biped in 3ds MAX.
So what ive been trying to do was bring in that specifc MAX animation and retarget it to our maya skeleton in MB, apply the control rig or whatever and tune it there. But ive been unsuccessful. Theres no simple way is there? Like to just export the animation off teh BIPED and just bring that in fbx format and retarget to the maya skel in MB? Will it work with it coming from the biped and not a skeleton? Can someone help with a detailed explanation please??
