This question has probably been asked a thousand times but how would someone render a lowpoly game model in maya without having the geometry's natural shading appear?

People render game models all the time in max but I was wondering if there was a way to do so in maya.

in the viewport /lightning/use no lights/
that will override the shading. Maxing ambient color in the material can also do that same thing.
