- Leading visual effects developer The Foundry (http://www.thefoundry.co.uk/) is delighted to announce that the development team responsible for the company’s Furnace visual effects and image-processing plug-ins is to be honoured with a Scientific and Engineering Award® from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences®. The Foundry are brilliant. They produce useful tools across a wide range of applications at a reasonable price. Glad to see them get one of those statues.

With good reason! Furnace is an amazing toolset! The retimer is better than Realviz's version and way easier....and the autostich panarama is freakin amazing and saved my ass on one project that i needed a slowmo pan with CG...just created a matte painting from the pan. Brilliant stuff!
