Hi....I've started with 3d about 2 moths ago with 3d studio max....


this is my 1st car in polymodeling :)

an old Fiat 500 :) (ITALIA RULEZ) :buttrock: :airguitar
For the base model I'm following a tutorial, and the racing model is the same but modified...

There are 177622 polygons and my pc is near to collapse when i'm modeling :)

I've modeled it with 3d studio max 5.1 and now i'm going into texturing :)

Its funny to me because I was just looking at old cars (im 16, gettin' my license soon!) that I could fix up with some aero kits, and you just took a hellsuh old car and applied those same rice rocket modifications.... the exact ones from the site I was looking at too! FREAKY! :surprised

but I dont really like the car model... the modeling is good, but the actual car I think is kinda weak. :hmm:

plus, the racing version of the car looks a bit too cartoony, I dont know why, maybe lower the Black Widow hood intakes? :curious:

nice little car,, its something rare for me to see in real life, every so ofter I see an old mini,, and Fiat like this well I'm not even sure if I have ever seen one before. Great modeling, get detailed now,, all that small stuff is the coolest... I like sofar keep at it.

The door seams are to soft, they need to be more crisp.

And there is a cap inbetween the corner of the hood and the side body
