how do i get my gi to smooth out in my reflections.

its called blurred reflections....look in the mental ray attributes of the shader

also, a cheaper choice is to add an extremely fine bump map.

thanks for the fast reply,

but that blurs the light reflection also.

im just looking to find out why the wall and the wall reflection is are not =.

Well your seeing a reflection of the other wall where more photons are hitting. If you turned your camera around and rendered from the balls point of view you would see the same spotches(it's not a reflection problem). You need to increase photons and tweak your radii/accuracy. You could also consider placing another light with no intensity, just emitting photons aimed at that other wall to distribute more photons.

here is the other wall and i busted all the setings, light samples 20, gi accu to 350, fg to 1000.
i will try the extra light/photons and see what happens when i get home. but the other wall looks good and smooth.

the jpg compression dosent help any please keep that in mind.
