I should say Andreas Calmbach is the one, who made this wonderful scheme.

Just copy the files to your c4d resource folder, and
Edit > Preferences > Common > Scheme
in R8.:)

"Just copy the files to your c4d resource folder, and
Edit > Preferences > Common > Scheme
in R8."

except, ensure you don't overwrite the originals

I don't have all all the modules (no Mocca, TP, ...)
Can I install this without causing problems?

I don't see why not. These are just "skins" for the interface. Please *do* post though if you have some problems.

Something to note though would be to rename the original files before extracting the newer ones. This way you can "undo" it if you want to go back to what you had.

You can get an OSX skin renaming (to whatever you want) the Aqua folder into your schemes folder ;)

I'm new to C4d as well and just to beat a dead horse ... I know you *just* copy the files to the resource directory. But the file to copy is called "resource". Of course, after *just* copying the file called resource to the resource file, this doesn't show up in the Preferences. Hey, I was following directions. So, that didn't work and I take a closer look and I see three individuals files that correspond to files found withing the resources directory "schemes", "bmp", & "icons". So, I *just* copied the contents of each into their respective folders - but it says that these file already exist - well, I *just* copied over what was probably the standard icons. How do you not copy over the standard icons - do you make a specific folder for the new icons ... I'm a little confused. I now have the "dark" GUI and it looks nice but I'd like to go back to the standard interface if I need to. Thanks guys for spelling this out for me.:)

Mdme_Sadies' XStacy scheme actually provides backup files for replaced icons - thanks Mdme_sadie.:) I've actually combined XStacy and Dark. Very cool.:)
