Hey all. I am in school, and i am interested in the game industry. I am currently doings games with student in Game Design here at the school. However my texture creation skills are not as good as I would like them to be. I see alot of people and there great textures, I am wondering if any of you know of any good tutorials out there for me to suck knowledge from! :) If you do know any, please let me know. Thanks!

hmm. Thanks, but that isn't really what i am looking for. I can UV map just fine. What I am looking for is how to create good textures. Like make a nice texture for a character in photoshop. I guess I need photoshop tutorials, for creating textures. If anyone knows of any let me know. Thanks!

Erik that is great. I like that alot. Very helpful. I guess my traditional art skills are low. The school I am in now doesn't have much, we just learn a ton of Maya. I am currently making games with students from Game Design, so i have already done a character, and textures. As well as animations and other models. (guns, cars, etc...). So I have osme knowledge now on how to make stuff for games, which is invaluble to me. But I know that by inproving my texture creation skills will make me more valuble to a company, and I need a job as soon as I graduate...which is soon! AAHHHHH! Thanks again man.
