Google Sketchup 6 & Pro 6...

I've downloaded it and tried it. It's amazingly fast and easy to use! It's really fun and after 1 minutes, you can start to work. And the snapping system is really nice.

It's certainly one of the cooler apps out there. If only they could sort out it's handling of curved surfaces a bit better... (and get standard navigation shortcuts in there).

Am I wrong or only the Pro version is available for testing? In version 5, there was the Pro version (at some price), and the normal version, which was free... Is there a normal version for 6,? I cannot find it

Else free version has Styles, Photo Match and Sand Box, etc... it's yet not so bad :)

What I love about sketchup is that this is how easy a 3d program should be and at the same time just as powerful as it should be.

I wish others thought outside the box and went this route. This is the one 3d program where you can build big things in no time flat.

Aha, thanks, interesting, I didn't even know Sketchup had any plugins (or the architecture for them), now is there one for customising the navigation shortcuts perhaps?
