Hello,

Has anyone ever used this modeling book?

Here is the book I asking about: Maya Character Modeling and Animation by Tereza Flaxman (http://www.amazon.com/Maya-Character-Modeling-Animation-Graphics/dp/1584504404/sr=1-2/qid=1168324427/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2/105-3297612-0585260?ie=UTF8&s=books)

Its sounds like what I am looking for.

I want to model my own character in MAYA that will be used for animating on my reel.

I have modeled, rigged my own character before, but it was almost 3 years ago. So I need a good book or DVD's to refresh my memory.

Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

Thank you in advance.:bounce:

when i start to learn character modeling I used many books.

one of the best books i had for character modeling was Stop Staring: Facial Modeling and Animation Done Right (http://www.amazon.com/Stop-Staring-Facial-Modeling-Animation/dp/0782141293/sr=1-1/qid=1169738308/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/105-9599870-5478052?ie=UTF8&s=books) ( http://www.amazon.com/Stop-Staring-Facial-Modeling-Animation/dp/0782141293/sr=1-1/qid=1169738308/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/105-9599870-5478052?ie=UTF8&s=books ) for character face.

for the rest of the body i used a human anatomy book for artist

for rig i have Maya Character Creation: Modeling and Animation Controls, First Edition (http://www.amazon.com/Maya-Character-Creation-Modeling-Animation/dp/0735713448/sr=1-5/qid=1169738116/ref=sr_1_5/105-9599870-5478052?ie=UTF8&s=books) ( http://www.amazon.com/Maya-Character-Creation-Modeling-Animation/dp/0735713448/sr=1-5/qid=1169738116/ref=sr_1_5/105-9599870-5478052?ie=UTF8&s=books)

i hope this will help you
