I have a Maya foot setup question. I've never really done a rev foot setup.
I have a body->hip->knee->ankle/heal->toe/foot joint chain (basically a thigh, shin, and foot joint - no ball joint) and want to create a setup where I can move the body joint down as the toe/foot joint stays on the ground (like a rev foot but without the ball rotate stuff). When I rotate the body the leg should rotate with the body like a standard FK joint chain. I've tried setting up the chain backwards using IK but when I parent the body to the drive the ik handle the leg doesn't rotate with the body. I tried using point constraints on a duplicated forward chain. Whats the trick, this should be simple without the ball joint? :hmm:
