View Full Version : Plugin::Julienne Updated, new Version
Per-Anders 02-19-2003, 04:18 AM OK, i caved in to demand and updated this plugin so that it can now slice in both world coordinates and object coordiantes (this means that it slices the selection/object based on the objects own axis).
it's downloadable from Renderzone

oh and you should redownload it again i'm afraid, i just updated it once more, now it has the option to split the selected faces that are julienned so cinema wont do the automatic slicing of the surrounding faces (makes some peoples lives easier).
i promise that's the last update to this i'm doing unless i find any bad bugs to this plugin for a while.
enjoy :)

Just a technical question, i'm curious but i'm not a coder, would it be difficult to make your plugins work into the active tool window?

This is even better! Wow! Keep up the great work! :surprised
ThirdEye's comment about the active tool window sounds interesting too . . hrm . . . :lightbulb
If you're going to start taking requests, you're going to have to start charging money for your hard work! :deal:
Thanks again! :)

i know, i'm just making things that i use, but if i make anything that i think is worth it, then i'll probably charge for it.
the active tool mnager is only for "tool" type plugins (the last two plugins i've made have been "menu" plugins. tool plugins are things like move, scale, rotate, bevel, extrude, a typical tools plugin wouldbe surface painter, it's something where you click or do things in the viewport in the viewport fro something to happen, and only those sorts of plugins can use the Active Tool Dialog Box (sorry).

now this is cool...:buttrock:
thanks man appreciate it.
(ps. about flush selection....i may be out of line here...and of course i won't be offended if you politely said so....but i was wondering if you fancied adding something....it does kinda go against the "flush select" name....but i would really like to see it do poly band/belt selection, i know youre thinking go get that from selectplus plugin....but i would like you to be able to take that band/belt selection and grow it either left/right (eg to an axis direction) of the selected belt if you get my meaning...at the moment a grow would just expand the surrounding area....but selective growth either side of a normal/poly would be to cool and very useful....dunno it was just a thought...and tell you what...if you do it i will buy your plugin should you charge for it...thanks... )
