Hi,

a basic explosion with Pyrocluster and TP which can easily be modified, enlarged and build up.

In the past i have always had difficulties in achieving a good looking explosion-effect with PC. So i thought maybe some of you would be interested and put it to good use.

The TP-part is from Richard "Steinberg" Moll (TP_smoke) and was a free Gift in the C4D-Treff-Adventskalender 2005.

Great work!

I have that old advent kalendar file too--and its come in handy in the past for me as well.
Except for the hard edges, and some other "PC"-looking details, this looks very close to a real explosion to me.

I think playing with gain (30%-45%) and/or using gaseous Noise or fractal Noise with a size of 200-300 will get rid of the hard edges inside of the cloud. The ouside edges of the explosion is looking good i think as most of the artbeats explosions i own do have hard edges on the outside.
