Hi All,
I've been working on a digital painting in Photoshop Creative Suite 2. The file has tonnes of layers and I've added effects on some of those layers, such as Bevel/emboss and Drop Shadows.
The problem is once I flatten the file or merge some of those layers, the effect is lost or the layer dissappears altogether, revealing the underlayer. The file itself is HUGE, thus wanting to flatten for display or printing purposes.
Does anyone have any suggestions? PLS? ;)
I've tried "Merge Visible", Merge to a new blank layer and even tried copying the layer/ images to a new document to flatten there (which sometimes works- 'hit and miss', but is hard to re-add effects and re-align/ reposition).
Also, on another tangent, what is an acceptable file size for posting artwork on CGtalk. Best rez and size for viewing?
Many Thanks!
