Hi,
I have a scene that is rendered in Mental Ray with a HDR image as heaven, a directional sun light and a directional fill light.
In this scene, a leaf is falling down.
The leaf is at the moment too dark, so I tried to give a spot light to the scene to light the leaf up a little bit.
Now, I used light linking th only have the light on the leaf, but now something very strange is happening, my floor is becoming black as if a surface shader is on it, but there are the 2 directional lights that are falling on it, but by unlinking the spot from the floor, it seems that no light has any more effect to the floor...
Is there a special trick with MR and light linking?
Oh, I just recognized, that every kind of lightlinking makes my floor totally black, I have onla the choice to link all lights to all objects, but in this way, the lightlinking is not useful...
thanks a lot, beat
