This is a short animation Lyp-Sync I did for my class at fullsail It's the blue guy, I like animation and I hope to get better at it. Tell me what you guys think! Only the actual animation is my work, everything else, includung the model and rig were provided to me through my school at fullsail real world education.

Your audio clip I found to intense and to short. Something that short should probably be more neutral maybe yeah?

I actually thought the length/tone was fine. (sorry Jason :))

I think you have a few nice poses in there. One that stuck out as "not so good" was the big throw back on "me" I think because he's gesturing screen left just before that, it would look better if he dropped back to screen right, rather than back away from the camera. The line of action gets lost there.

Over all you've got a pretty good sense of weight and timing but look for some areas to push the head a bit more. There are a couple times when a slight head shake could really sell the frustration. Also look at your hands/fingers they feel pretty stiff to me. The hands seems to be twinning a bit try off setting the keys to break them up.

keep at it

I appreciate the crits, lots of good input. The sound clip was provided to me by the class I was in. I did not get much say in the audio choice. Thanks again guys! www.ryanavis.com (http://www.ryanavis.com/)

Good job on it. There are a few things that I thought looked a little weird.

1) The motion during the apart looks a little weird. Try getting it to he doesn't stay leaning back so much either that or have him shake a little when he comes forward and hold the forward bend a little bit longer at the end of that.

2) Move his brow a bit more. That way it shows a little more emotion in the face. Right now the face just looks a little bland.

3) The part were he yells, "tearing me" should have something a little more in it. Not really sure, but it looks like it is going by with nothing there.

It is looking good so far and I know that with mine I still look at it and still can fix things in it. Just keep working at it and you will get it just right. Oh, and tell Todd Patterson that Peter Jackson says Hi!
