View Full Version : PolyTexture Projection. faster work flow?

Hi :-) i have so many questions i know but its spares me a lot of time this forum is great :-) thanks for all ppl who have answerd the previous questions.

okey here we go.

i have a total human charakter i dont know which solution i should use to UV texture it :-/ when i use Projection Mapping it
it look nice in the UV TExture editor. but the whole body is in one place there. is there anyway to tell maya to split the body exactly into pefect SPLIT so i have projection FRONT AND BACK? i have tried to select half of the body FACES and make to seperate projections but its so time spening to find the exact matching edges and faces so it will be symteric correct half. anyide what the best workflow is to do it? i want to texture the whole body and i dont want do split it into parts (diffrent objects etc.)
