Hi Everyone,

Produced the picture this morning using a few photographs. Its supposed to be somewhere in space that is perfect, where nobody has seen before and is untouched by man.

I took out the snow and replaced it with water.
Modified some pictures of Pyramids etc etc

Took about 4 hours

i like the concept... but isn't it too cold for the dolphin in that icy water?? unless your version of utopia pictures no feelings... hot or cold, and so on... which i think is pretty cool

I don't know how good the work is, but I Do know that the idea of a place that is untouched by neither pain nor joy then How could it be perfect? I've not exactly had an easy life, but just a bit ago (before I found the girl i love) I figured that without the suffering good times wouldn't be so nice. I find the feelings of joy and happyness to be only so much better after times of intense suffering.

Thanks for the replies so far people. Wish I hadn't given it a name now as more comments are about that than the work.

Does anyone have any crits so that I could improve for the future. I know most of u lot are good at that.

This looks less like a painting and more like you edited images together and touched them up to match a bit. If this is the case, your edges are really sharp and need to be blurred. If not, they still need to be blurred in my opinion. What exactly is going on here though? Why are there pyramids in the sky in utopia? Oh, and if it's indeed a painting and not edited together, then fantastic painting.

Yeah sorry for making it a bit confusing. Certain parts are painted for example part of the mountains and the some of the dolphin and the splash were all done by hand.

The idea just came into my head. It reminded me a bit from the Mummy where they race to the horizon where the pyramids are in the haze. That sort of thing.

Do u think the dolphin works? wasn't too sure about that bit.
