View Full Version : Game Texturing (real time)
le_faya 02-18-2003, 12:43 PM I would like to know more about the game's textures. How to optimize your file. What you can use or not. How to simulate the shadows, the lights......every things to learn more about this!
Because I just finish my studys (bye bye student's life....) and I didn't study the specifity of game developpement. And when we ask to me to make a test I am limited by this....
THANKS YOU FOR HELPING ME

polycount has an excellent forum, with a decent Search engine. You should look around in there. There is a huge amount of information about game texturing.

That one link should keep you busy for several days. There is also a thread at the top of that forum, full of game texture tutorials.
