Hi. i have seen on many fantastic 3d art that people do somthing very nice, and example is. you have an modell of a horse, and there are ropes around this horse, i would like to make this rope affect the modell so it looks that its streched and the rope have to affect the "skin" on the horse like there is a force. i meanl ike the rope is sitting very hard on the horse. i dont know how to archive this without fine tuning for hours. it will not work with animation :-/ so another example is

2 hands there is hand cuffs on those. the handcuffs must affect the skin because there are sitting very tight and the chaing between the cuffs must loock very strechted because the hands are using much force.

or a horse saddle. the saddle is attached to the horse its a fat horse so the skin pulls out on the sides on the saddle? how do i do it with some dynamics or what?

:-) <sight>

thanks LobsterLeg .

you could experiment with softbodys. use the model, bind to the skeleton, as a goal object with a goal weight of 1. now you can let the particles of the softbody collide with other models.
