I needed to make a humanoid for a competition. I really wanted to do a whole adventuring party, but got hard up for time and had to focus on the dwarf for now. Photomanipulation of lots of images.

I can't decide between the entire body or just the close up. Which is better?

Its an interesting start but can use a lot of work. The overall proportions for example need work and the hands. Also the face apears to be to large for the helmet and of course need to be darker to look lik its in a helmet. Any way I could see it being a nice image with more work on proportions etc.

His knees don't look right. He seems to be standing in a sitting position. This is a hard position to stand in even without armour.
