CGTalk - Terrified girl eye

I'm working on this eye for a painting that i have to correct...

Since shes gonna be scared, and not angry, I surgess a bigger bow on her eyebrow. So she looks a bit supprised.

In the original version is like you suggest...surprised...but too surprised...in your pic is not terrified!!!

Firstly, thats a frikken awesome image.

Only thing is, like the guys said, and asuming from your title to the piece, its definately lacking something in the eyes.

Try doing a Google Image search for (two seperate words) 'fear' and 'eye'

(would've put pics up here but legal issues etc...)

Another thing to help show fear in the eyes is to have a lot of white showing around the pupil to make it look as though the eye is wide open in fear.

The first image looks great, it's just not showing fear though.
