hi everybody
the prob. is i built new huge scene with maya 8
and im going to render it by mental ray
and i gound this message in the script editor
-aborted message-
by the way i try alot and the same message appears..
and i try to render anther models by mental ray and its ok
i can render this model by maya s/w but not with mray and i need to render it
by mray or my showreel

i dont know
but I feel something is wrong
may you can render part of the scene
if its ok now you know you can use render layers
but if not
you most chek all you your scene setings

Try exporting your model into a new scene.

Okay step one would be to go to the translation tab in your render settings and set it to progress messages, then try a rerender and post me back the details.
