Hi,
I've just made a new attempt to model & render using Blender 2.37a/YafRay (Ubuntu Linux), but I find it somewhat difficult to make convincing metal textures like chromium, or other metals. I found a brief description (http://download.blender.org/documentation/htmlI/ch18s04.html#BSG.RAD.F.S68.501), but the result hardly looks like metal (more like light-grey plastic). Does anybody can give me a hint on how to set up the parameters correctly, or is there a way to create metal shaders, as in RenderMan/RIB, in Blender?
Thx,
Claus
