View Full Version : viewport scale and rotate and zoom and messed up and REALLY

ok, this sounds stupid.. and i've been looking around for an answer for a while.. but..

so i've been modeling this car.. turns out, i totally ignored scale.. so when i go to texture its very off (like almost 100 times to big). BUT.. when its scaled down, i essentially can't move about the viewport - its WAY to chunky.. i def can't rotate, and even zooming is weird.. what gives?

i tried to resave it, in a new file, etc, but no luck..

it isn't REALLY a problem - i can just tweak the textures.. mostly its just REALLY buggin me... REALLY.

riiight well.. shortly after posting, i had an idea - and i was correct..

move the junk back to the center.. DOH... and it works.. turns out when i scaled it, it was wayyy far out.. so.. muchos gracias!

In the utility panel there is a utility under "more" called Rescale World Units. Pretty handy for future reference..
