Ultra low budget fantasy comedy being shot in Arizona is looking for an artist who can create a matte painting for opening sequence.
Name credit and compenstation potentional in form of future profit after distribution of film.
The sequence needed is of a witches cottage in the forest. Camera is facing cottage surrounded by grass and flowers, up at angle and pans out to reveal grass and flowers stop at circle around cottage and rest of shot is snow and trees. (View video to see example of shot panning out.)
The mattepainting will be integrated with live footage showing the characters walking out and away from cottage.
Cottage will need to look medieval/fantasy type building.
I have included some concept mockups to help illustrate the shot. The video is in DIVX format and you will need a DIVX player to view it. The last picture is just a example of how elaborate one could go, but does not represent a requirement.
