Another "Could This be Done" question

you would have to get the ground height value (constrain a null to a groundplane of some sort?), add a child null to that null and move it up as high as you wanted your aircraft to be, then add a spring constraint to your aircraft to that null, the result should be something looking a bit like this effect.

It's more than a concept - the Russians have working full scale aircraft - gotta love the Discovery channel! (ps. this is for over-sea, ground is FAR too irregular... plus all the telephone poles and cows LOL ;)
