:surprised
Ok, I've been browsing these forums for the last week, and I've seen some amazing stuff that people have done, so I'm somewhat reluctant to post any of my own work, but I'll go ahead anyway...
I'm currently doing an animation project at university and we have to come up with a organic character and animate it in a 30 second animation (must include a walk cycle etc)...
I've made a dragon head, it's supposed to be quite unthreatening and kinda like... um, anyone remember that Henson production on TV years ago called Dinosaurs? Well it's kinda like that only not set in prehistoric times... sorta like a Dinosaurs crossed between Howard the Duck universe... anyway...
Here's the head:

Now, the textured version on that isn't really what I'm going to go for, I'm going to texture it with much more a much more subtle skin (it's got that on there right now just so i had something to show my lecturer :P)
Things to do on the head is:
Add eyelids
Texture map it
Add teeth
I'm making a shirt which isn't really finished yet, as i want to add a hood and stuff and maybe some creases... I'm not going for realism here, just something fairly benine but not too cartoony...

I'll be attaching the head to the shirt at some point...
Things to do:
Add a hood
Maybe add creases
Texture it
(Edit: You'll probably notice a little wedge thing at the bottom of the shirt, I've since removed that.)
Um, that's it so far I guess...
Comments and suggestions are welcome...
I am using Maya for this (a requirement of my course), and I've been using 3D Studio MAX far more than Maya so I'm still adjusting...
