CGTalk - Fluid Motion Field

Is there something odd about the motion field option for fluids? I've tried adding it to some objects, it gets made, but it has no impact on the fluid. The "Push Intensity" slider which should be in the Extra Attributes doesn't show up. I checked Autodesk's support site, and there is a post there, but for some reason my browser won't show it.

I'm running Maya 7 on OSX 10.4.8

Check the fluid container as "Dynamic". If you r using any cloud presets given in maya, its static.

If it is a dynamic container, the "push intensity" will automatically get highlight.
