Hi! My name is Fredrik!
I have a little problem. I want to create a window without using boleans, but instead use different shapes. I started with a rectangular shape and then used lines to divide the window into four different squares. Then I added the lines and rectangular shapes into one object. The problem I encountered was that after converting the shapes into an edit mesh(or editable poly, or using the extrude modifier), I couldn't select one polygon(square) of four to delete which meant that I didn't get the gap that I wanted.
Instead, the hole window polygon was selected.
I´ve tried to change the order, when making a closed gap of an shape, whithout any good results.
By the way! Does anyone know of any good "architechtrial tutorials" that doesn't use plugins, which are not standard plugins? i.e. there aren't any tutorials whatsoever that explains how you build the outside of a house with much detail on(the most effecient way).
I hope someone of you outhere understands my problem and could help me.
Thanks!
