Nice walk! The motion is nice and loose. I can't see any problem apart from the stiff tail (especially at the base) like what Jason S said.
By the way, I saw the pop up poster of your animated short, "Chip off the old block". It looks simple and neat. When are you going to upload it? Can't wait to see it.
Do remember to post up your other mouse walks too!

Hey, your cycle looks really nice. I like the fluidity of the whole thing (even the tail). The only thing that stands out to me is a slight popping in the legs as they "hyperextend" at their repsective extremes. Seems like you maybe have IK on the legs and just animated them a little too far.
IMHO :)

Hey cool,
Only took me an hour, so i'll tweak the snapping and tail in about 5 mins.

He´s happy, I guess. Or at least not worried at all.
Very nice, waiting for the sad one.

Very Nice!
I like you're first tail better. It seemed more stiff at the base and then more flexible toward the tip. To my mind that seems right.
One thing that seems off to me are his hips. They appear to be rotating the same way as the shoulders rather than countering them.
Maybe it's the angle of the shot or maybe I'm CRAZY!!!:surprised
Great stuff all the same!

Hi Eek,
I really like the walk animation, nice roll to the shoulders.
In my opinion the tail needs a little lateral movement to the left and right but other than that it's great.
What happened to the other walks? ;)
Cheers
Jon
Hey thankyou,
Thats a really good idea about the tail, i completely forgot about that oops. I've just about finished the sad walk. I'll post it at lunchtime about 4 hours from now.

Hi Eek,
Another nice walk cycle.
Maybe you could ease the downward movement of his pelvis, it seems to drop a little sharply. May be just a case of moving the key on a frame.
The tail looks static but I can't really suggest any specific movement to put on it;)
Cheers
Jon
PS did you get my private mail the other day?

I think the reason why the tail looks a little static is because the hips dont rotate from the steps enough.
In my opinion, when a toony char, like your's, has a big and round "ass", it (the ass) tends to resrict movement in the legs, so the character compensates for it by swinging the hips a little more. A good example of this would be how a guy in a micky mouse outfit seems to waddle when trying to walk. The hip swings out because all the flesh around where the leg meets the hip acts like rubber anchor, causing a fractional ammount of energy from the leg's movement to be transfered into the hip.
And thusly you have hip rotation.
looks damn good so far though!!!!!!!!!!!
hope it helps.
Hey thankyou,
I'll have a look at the tail/hips at lunch time and do a few tweaks.
It's all in there just certain bits need to be exagerated etc.
