I have 4 computers. One on computer I have installed the Full C4D app (studio bundle), server software, and client software. On the other three computers, I have only the client software installed. All c4d software versions are 9.521.

When I try to connect more than 3 of these computers, the Server window gives me an error that reads 'Maximum number of clients exceeded'. I thought that you could connect an unlimited number of clients to the server, as long as they all had the same software version? Help anyone?

It depends on the "version" of net render you purchased , limited to 3 or unlimited

I have the *studio bundle* not 'XL'. With the studio bundle unlimited clients are allowed. This hasn't always been a problem for me. A few weeks ago I had 5 & 6 computers hooked up. Since then I've reformatted the computer that the App and Server software was on, since the reformat, I haven't been able to connect more than 3 computers.

You probably used your Cinema 4D Serial Number in the Net Server Registration Field. There's a Typo that asks for your C4D Number there, instead, put in your Net Unlimited License Number and you should be set.
