Title: CyndaSpell
Name: Simon Wright
Country: Australia
Software: Photoshop
The dark side of the mind is powerful, and black magic runs rampant through the viens of CyndaSpell. A wizard in his own right and sorcerer of the darklight.
It took about 12 hours, and was designed for a comic cover which I wrote a few years ago, the idea had been lingering around and now was the right time to paint it. I just started painting and it came through me like someone had possesed me.
Any thoughts?

Good image! Hmmm, I think the characters skin is a bit too flat, I'm sure the image would benefit from more toning. using a spackled brush would help in the toning as well.
I also find that lowing the master Opacity to 70% - 80% would help make the image a bit softer with less hard lines. - This helps me anyway and I hope this is the sort of thoughts you were after. :)

The 3 characters look like they're from a different painting each. In my opinion, the image would work better if only the background character was to be seen. Or the both girls in the foreground need some work:
why is the girl on the right so small? I think you wanted her to be further away, but up to the hips she's just as tall as the girl on the left. Plus, she's lit by bright green frontal light, while the girl to the left isn't. Or it would show even more stronger on her skin and clothes. Where is the green light coming from anyway? From the water? Then I'd eliminate the front light. Or from the background girl's hands? Then there should be more of rim of green light on the edges (also of the hair) of the two foreground girls.
That's why they imho don't fit together in one image. But aside of that, I think the girl to the right is very pretty. All of them are drawn beautifully, I like their faces.
Hope that's helpful,
Kristina
