View Full Version : [wip-character] the Mountainking
Alice 02-17-2003, 06:14 PM Started working on a creature today.
Its a "bergkung" a mountainking.
I'm kinda torn on what to do, keep him in 3 mixed ways of drawing ( pens, watercolour and photoshop) or doing a total makeover in ps.
What do you ppl think?

it looks very unique.
well... are u going to continue on the painting?
:)
if u do, actually i do suggest that u use painter to do the whole coloring process. because i do find that spreading water colors on the canvas 1st. and then use oil or arcrylic to cover on top. then use water to wash parts which u want it to be soften or dissolve. it could be a very interesting way to make this image even greater.
anyway, it's a very nice piece of work. but i suspect it's not completed yet.

Been thinking on keeping it like this and just brush it up a bit, but then, finishing it completely is a tempting thing :)
I havnt been using painter, did open it and learned the basics couple of weeks ago so it would be a good thing to try it on.
will do!
tanx!
