Hey all,

Here is my current WIP. :bounce:

Its a concept drag / fixed track bike for the near future if your wondering......which explains the obvious lack of steering ability.

I had no idea what this was going to be when it started life as a box, as I was short on inspiration and high on depression (from looking at everything from Squidinc, the "age" thread and the Street Fighter character from the CGTALK WIP section. ).

It is knowhere near finished, textured or lit yet so I guess im just here to find out of its cool so far or not! :thumbsdow

If it turns out well I may even give serious human character modelling a try to create a driver.....my current driver from "Team Zygote" just isnt cutting it!!! ;)

Any crits, good or bad will be greatfully recieved....Thanks!

you might want to define the drivers pearch into more of a seat like make indentations where his legs go so he is kinda melded into the bike. right now it kinda looks like he wouldnt be able to stay on

Hey JIII,

Thanks for the input.

Yeah, im aware that the drivers position is a bit off right now, and will work on it in the next few days. I will also be adding a steering column and some wheel details on my next updates.

Any more opinions?

pretty nice design but needs detail. define that intake hole a bit better maybe ad some sharp lines to the design. than sell it to me. i would ride it:)

i think the driver should be lower to the ground and more arodinamic, and some more detail would be nice. as it is, it's good but not great.

Yes, the bike needs to be lower to the ground, more streamlined to indicate speed. Right now the side view just seems too big and bulky.

Hey all,

Thanks for all the opinions guys.

I have gone back a few steps and am currently cleaning up the mesh to make the process of adding detail and refining the shape easier.

Following some of the comments, the revised version will be alot sleeker and aerodynamic. I agree its a bit too "Bubbly" right now! Its almost an SUV bike.......:surprised

Thanks for the crits.....an update should come later this week!

it might give more a sense of scale if you added some details to the sides, like breaking it into panel sections and adding harder edges where seams would meet. Maybe you're already planning that stuff. . . . .

a cool idea, keep at it.
